Class 4 Laser Therapy works by delivering focused, high-intensity light energy deep into tissues, where it stimulates cellular activity and promotes ATP production. This enhances the body’s natural healing processes, improves circulation, reduces swelling, and supports tissue repair. The therapy is ideal for deeper injuries such as muscle strains, ligament sprains, joint issues, and nerve irritation.
During a Class 4 Laser session, our physiotherapist moves the laser handpiece over the affected area in slow, controlled movements. Patients may feel a gentle, warming sensation during treatment, which typically lasts 5–10 minutes depending on the condition. The high penetration depth ensures effective targeting of deeper tissue layers.
Class 4 Laser Therapy is safe when administered by trained professionals. Protective eyewear is worn during treatment to shield eyes from laser exposure. Side effects are rare and may include temporary warmth, redness, or mild tingling. It is not recommended for use over cancerous lesions or directly over the eyes.
